Staging of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Short Course

On February 4, 2012, members of Iwaki Municipal Fire Department visited the company and staged an AED short course that was targetted for employees.

An AED is a therapeutic device that imparts electric shocks to the heart to restore heart rhythm to persons who suffer sudden cardiac arrest.

TOYO SYSTEM has deployed AED devices throughout the company so that sudden cases of cardiac arrest can be handled, and short courses such as this are periodically staged to ensure that people can calmly utilize AED when the need arises.

Through conducting this activity, we hope to build a setup where people can respond to emergency cases, whether in the company or in town, so that as many lives as possible can be saved.
