Iwaki Senior High School has been designated as a Super Science High School by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), and this time training was conducted at TOYO SYSTEM with the “objective of learning about the role of science and technology in corporate activities”.

Forty first-grade students studied on the topic of how TOYO SYSTEM’s technology is involved in the field of rechargeable batteries.

In addition, we also conducted test drives of Lexus LFA with the aim of letting the students get firsthand experience of the high level of Japan’s manufacturing technology.

We hope that this company visit goes some way toward increasing the number of students who become involved in the science and technology field in the future.
