We took part in the Iwaki Reconstruction Festival that was held on October 1 and 2, 2011.

On hearing about the festival, we considered how we could make a contribution.

We turned our focus to children. Based on our motto of providing backup for protectors of the global environment, TOYO SYSTEM is engaged in development while considering environmental protection.

So we thought that it will be great if there could be atleast one more person who would believe in our motto, by the time the children of today become adults. Based on such thinking, we selected Honda’s humanoid walking robot “ASIMO”, which is packed with state-of-the-art technology. Together with hula dancers from Spa Resort Hawaiians and children, ASIMO gave a simple performance of hula dancing. The voices of surprise, expressions of wonder, and vivid smiles of the children who experienced ASIMO at close quarters, were unforgettable.

We feel that this was a good opportunity to impart dreams and hopes to the children who will help drive Japan’s future.
