TOYO SYSTEM’s President and CEO Hideki Shoji received the 7th “Japan Academic Society for Ventures and Entrepreneurs Shuichi Matsuda Award” on December 4, 2021, as part of a national competition held by the Japan Academic Society for Ventures and Entrepreneurs.
The Shuichi Matsuda Award is given in recognition of achievements in progressive activities, or the education of entrepreneurs and dissemination of information with social impact.
CEO Shoji completes his managerial duties alongside his role as Representative Director of the “Organization for Iwaki Battery Valley Promotion.” His highly-evaluated role in the following activities led to his receiving this award.
● Proposal for circumventing disaster risks in major domestic industries
● Proposal for a model city making use of both renewable energy and the next-generation energy “hydrogen”
● A human resource development project to educate the young people who will lead the next generation(actively working to achieve this end, including lecturing students)
● Introduction of the Iwaki Future Human Resources Development Project (Iwaki EV Academy)
He will continue his activities in regional creation, and in creating futures for today’s children.
□The Japan Academic Society for Ventures and Entrepreneurs
A society created with the purpose of conducting research into theories, verification, and implementation of entrepreneurial activities in both venture and general companies, while also contributing to the promotion of industry-academia collaborations and providing support for entrepreneurial activities.
□Shuichi Matsuda Award
Supports social development via the goal of contributing to encouragement of practical activities relating to support for ventures and entrepreneurs. The award was founded in 2015, making this the 7th time it has been awarded.
Candidates for the award are judged based on their practical activities in the support of ventures, centered in progressive activities and the education of entrepreneurs and dissemination of information with social impact.
